Help, negotiated where it matters most.

A lean Australian organisation matching humanitarian support with the projects and people who need it.

About us

Aid Distribution International was set up in 2004 in Australia, with the aim of negotiating help in disadvantaged countries and disaster areas, and funding and carrying out projects that make a real difference.

ADI has contacts in many parts of the world and seeks to match humanitarian donors and organisations with projects that meet significant needs. With minimal administrative costs and no large standing staff, ADI acts as a negotiator, encouraging existing local groups to care, accountably, for some of the world’s most disadvantaged people.

ADI work in the field
How we work

A simple model, built to do good.

ADI keeps things lean and local, so support reaches people directly and is used with care.

Negotiator, not bureaucracy

We match donors and organisations with projects, encouraging existing local groups to act rather than building a large standing structure.

Low overhead

Minimal administrative costs mean more of every gift reaches the people and projects it was given for.

Local delivery

Trusted partners on the ground carry out the work, with knowledge of the people and the need.

Accountable care

Partners are encouraged to care accountably for the disadvantaged, so support is used with integrity.

What we do
